Research Interests
My research interests include evaluating ecosystem dynamics, specifically how organisms function in their environment and what role each plays in community and population coevolution. I am also interested in understanding evolutionary events, such as the emergence of novel traits and how they impact organisms' ecological interactions. As an incoming graduate student at the Kerr Lab, I will be studying plasmid evolution to better understand the mechanisms that lead to antibiotic resistance in bacteria.
