Maya Abhyankar
About me:
I am a third year undergraduate at the University of Washington pursing a degree in General Biology. I am currently doing undergraduate research for postdoctorate Olivia Kosterlitz. Currently I am designing protocols and running assays to obtain data and eventually estimate conjugation rates between E. coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae. In the future I hope to work on the genetic aspects of evolutionary biology and continue to learn and grow as a student and member in the Biological Sciences field.
