Postdoc Research (Kerr)
I am interested in understanding how mutualistic interactions among microbes arise and are maintained. My other research interests are in the major egalitarian transitions in evolution, the consequences of horizontal gene transfer for microbial evolution, and the implications of functional and spatial relationships among species for microbiome health.
